Happy Birthday, Tony!

Ethan woke up this morning, looked at the calendar, and said, "Guess whose birthday it is today!" So we celebrated Anthony's 22nd by taking a nature walk this morning. We told the boys about how Anthony used to love to feed the ducks. We saw not only ducks, but Canadian Geese as well as the "Charlotte's Web" variety white geese, and even swans. Reid was fearless and chased the big white geese into the water, touching one of them, and would have gone head-to-head with the big, honking Canadian goose, but Derek stopped him before he got "goosed."
We enjoyed our day of General Conference for the most part... I guess wrestling kids at home is better than wrestling them at the church. :) When the Choir sang "O My Father" I mentioned that that song was sung at Anthony's funeral, and Ethan thought it was pretty significant that they were singing that song on Anthony's birthday.
We love you all and are so grateful to be part of your eternal family!

Those pictures are great. What a nice way to celebrate his birthday. We watched a video that Laurie made on Anthony's first birthday---how lucky we are to have that and see him just a month before he got sick. All of you were such sweet little kids--Mandy's ballet is featured in this video also. Cami and Matt seemed drawn in as we watched. thanks for all the sweet rememberances. Mom
